Hicom offers global laboratory facilities to undertake preliminary tests on customer's materials.
These facilities are equipped with Hicom 15 (15kW) batch mills and associated monitoring and laser measurement equipment, and are designed to provide a quick and economical "first look" at any grinding/ attritioning/liberating application.
Using small amounts of material, many different operating parameters including power density and media size, can be quickly varied to establish the optimum conditions for either a further pilot (dynamic) test, or full scale operations.
The Hicom 15 mills incorporates a 5 litre grinding chamber and can grind material, autogenously or with media, from top sizes of 25mm to single micron levels.
Test grinding facilities and computer software simulations are provided by Hicom at the company sites in Sydney and also by our Authorised Test Laboratories (ATL's) around the world.
ATL's provide our customers with independent local analysis on a fee for service basis.
